Singapore McD's McSpicy
Beside i having McFantastic, i got myself another burger McSpicy. Nothing much to comment about this burger. It taste like Malaysia McD's McDeluxe. But.... McSpicy tasted BETTER. It is spicier than McDeluxe. However according to the Singapre McD nutrition facts, if McSpicy vs Chicken Fan-tastic, McSpicy is not an ideal meal.
As you can see McSpicy has more sodium, fat, cholesterol and yet less fibre. But the combination of the juiciness meat with the seasame bun plus the creamy fresh mayonnaise is awesome. It tasted yummy. It is must try. For those healh conscious people just take note.
My Rating: 5/5

McSpicy!!!
Look super nice. It make me hungry everytime i see this picture.

Yum!!! See the juiciness of the chicken and the seasame bun. Oh!La!La!

Singapore McD's Chicken Fantastic.
I came to Singapore for sometimes. I had many food here but not fastfood. My brother told me once, every country fast food restaurant got their own specialities. So i went to McD and check it out. See the menu from far. McFantastic. The picture look like grilled bun which fried chicken. When i opened the box, i was to surprised. It is not grilled bun, it is grilled rice. the "bun" actually is RICE.

The 1st bite. Hmm taste weird. Tasted like soya souce. I think it is from the rice. The rice taste nice, tender and juicy. 2nd bite. The combination of the rice and fried chicken is marvelous. It is like eating Taiwanese famouse fried chicken chop rice. It is a great effort from McD to create a variety of "burger". However, i don't really like it because you go McD to eat burger not rice. haha.

My Rating : 4/5

The package. look like Chicken foldover in M'sia

Top view of Chicken Fantastic. See the rice bun? Look Yummy!

Front view. Wah.. look so tasty cant wait to eat la. Oh yea. Chicken Fantastic come with alot vegies. Good for digestion.

"Wa bo zhai liao la. Jiak!!!" - hokkien Cannot wait liao la. EAT!!!. Look at the rice. Round round nice nice and yummy.

City Link
When you go to Suntec City, you have to take MRT to City Hall and walk 10mins to Suntec City. The underground walking tunnel amazed me. The tunnel called City Link. The link is fully air-conditioned. There are many shops along the path. Honestly, i dont feel i was walking in a tunnel to Suntec City because the link make me feel like im in another shopping mall. I like this contruction and ideas. It fully utilized the space underground. Bravo.
My rating : 5/5
The City Link logo.

As you can see the tunnel link is an "L" shape and i need to walk from one end of the "L" to the other. Along the tunnel is all shops. Cool!!

Inside the tunnel. Look like mall dont it.

Another view, another feel of the mall

Suntec City
We dropped by CIty Hall and walked to Suntec City after our visit to Vivo City. Suntec City is another shopping mall. i like the design in Suntec City. I think this place will be very crowded when there is exhibition held. Nothing much to elaborate because it is a shopping mall.
My Rating : 3/5
Suntec City logo.

Take a rest after 5 hours walks.

I taking a rest too.. ahhh....

There is a Fountain of Wealth in Suntec City

As you can see there is a fountain in the middle. They believe you wish will come true if you walk around the fountain and touch the fountain at the same time. Well i did what they told, just wait and see. The top view. i like this picture. Very nice view

Vivo City Pt 2
This is part 2 of my trip to Vivo City. Vivo City is a great mall. It has a outdoor park and a pool for tired shoppers to stop-by and enjoy the view of the Sentosa island and the sea breeze. Well its design is like MidValley plus Alamanda. Whereas the outdoor park and the pool concept is like KLCC park. Overall Vivo City offers a variety range of fashion brands from europe to US. Those brands which hardly find in South Eact Asia now available in Vivo City. Well i dont shop for branded stuffs. Furthermore, I prefer Mid Valley than Vivo City of its spacious shoping enviroment and it offered a complete package from shopping to entertaiment. The KLCC outdoor park is still the best park, it has huge pool for kids to swim, a running track and many greeny trees around which transformed the city into a jungle. I heard my colleauges said the Vivo City's Cinema Golden Village is one of the best in the region. I had not experience the wonderful cinema, so my rating will just base on the shopping enviroment of the mall.
My Rating : 2/5 not include cinema experiences.
Vivo City inside view.
The water is very shallow. The depth is around 60cm. So it is very safe to swim without a lifeguard!!
Vivo City the other side end view.
Golden Village cinema. Aiyak no time to see yet.
In the outdoor park i found this man hanging around for hours!!! That is how you should do when hang out.
This fountain is cool. The hole in the center of the pool sucks the water in. It just look like flushing a toilet. Cool piece of art.

Deepavalli Singapore Tour

The Journey start from Aljunied MRT Station till Harbour Front MRT Station.
22 October 2006, it is Deepavalli !! Sigh no "Muruku" to eat. Wake up 1030. Dragged myself to the living room and lied down on the sofa. Micheal woke up earlier than me. There was Pokemon anime on Kids Central. Came out no where we have the idea to go Vivo City, Singapore latest shopping mall.

"Okie-Dookie". We get ourself prepared and ready to GO.

"Alrite! Let's Go! "
"YeaAA!! Boy!"
So our journey to West South of Singapore begun from Aljunied -> Kallang -> Lavender -> Bugis -> Raffles Place -> Tanjong Pagar -> Outram Park interchange HarbourFront. Then we walked 5min, and we reached Vivo City. The contruction is great. Very near MRT station.

MRT ride is FUN!!!

Well I compared Malaysian LRT and Singaporean MRT, they are the same. I don't understand why people criticized LRT so badly and praised MRT so good such like MRT is not shaky, very stable. Well i just found that both of the system are same. Both is shaky but stable, MRT's emergency brake is horrible LRT havent experienced, sardine packed, people like to squeezed in front the door and enter the train before people all come out. Conclusion, LRT is not that bad as what people said. LRT is wonderful.

Prepare to ride MRT to Vivo City Showing off Ezlink Cards. The main access card to MRT entire network! MRT station's EZ Link top up machine.

Kick off from Aljunied.....

Dropped by City Hall and visited Suntec.

Reached Outram Park. We almost there. Here is the place we interchanged the train.

Finally reached!! HarbourFront "People moutain people sea." - broken English, don't learn

Terrorist Attack Awareness
After the incident September 11 and the subway bombings in London subway, Singapore Goverment took some initiative to protect the public safety by created these awareness poster in MRT stations and buses. It remind the public to play a role to detect any suspicious bags which left unattended.

Vivo City

We reached Vivo City around 1245pm. There is many people came to the mall. Oh well, Vivo City is just opened and still brand new to everyone is Singapore. We had our lunch at Long John's Silver. I'm not really like it. Everything is fried and portion is small. I don't think i will had another Long John's Silver meal.

I had Long John's silver Fish Wrap for lunch.Soon Chek had Long John's silver Chicken Set Combo 1.

Singapore harbour. I have no idea what is the harbour name. Maybe HarbourFront?

From the Vivo City top roof you can see the Sentosa Island. It is blurred. Thanks to haze.

Taking a pose in the Haze. Behind me is Sentosa island.

The essential items in Singapore
As many people know, Singapore is an island. Not that big, not that small. the most convinient way and cheap to travel around the island is MRT and buses. EZ Link card is an essential item in Singapore if you want to travel around. It works just like Malaysia's Touch n' Go. Just top up the value with Singapore Dollar, and prepare to "beep" and go.

Soft drink in Singapore..
Coke Light will be always my favourite. The soft drink here is not as cheap as Malaysia. Surprisingly, it cost alsmot the same. One bottle Coke for 1.5L is cost SGD 2.20 - SGD 2.60. However Mike told me Singapore got one special Coke which can't find in Malaysia. IT IS COKE LIME!!! The 1st sip of the Coke Lim is so marvelous. It is like drinking Coke with "asam boi" sour plum. It is highly recommended. Try it when you in Singapore.
Coke Light
Coke LimeThe cup I use for Coke, Nescafe, Ho Yan Ho, Lipton. It's from IKEA.

The result of drinking too much Coke..... too many empty bottles left in sink.
This proof that, Singapore Coke Lime is goooood.
